🎓 Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the procurement field within well-established public or private organizations.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in public sector procurement, specifically in PPRA or EPADS, in a similar role.

As the Manager Procurement & Contracts (M-7), you will:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.
  2. Manage the entire procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  3. Ensure compliance with public procurement regulations (PPRA/EPADS) and company policies.
  4. Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  5. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
  6. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
  7. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
  8. Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  9. Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
  10. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement activities.
  11. Ensure the proper handling and storage of procured goods.
  12. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in procurement and contract management.
  13. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  14. Provide training and support to staff on procurement policies and procedures.
  15. Perform any other tasks assigned by senior management.
